Umar Akmal was wrong pick. Intikhab Alam

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Team manager Intikhab Alam in his World Twenty20 report has termed Shahid Afridi as a ”poor captain’ and stated Umar Akmal as wrong selection.

Alam in his report, criticised Afrid’s infield decisions during India match and questioned his pitch-reading and right field placing skills.

Intikhab Alam showed distress over unexpected batting order shuffles during WT20, as ‘none of them were discussed during team meeting.’

He went on to say that Umar Akmal, due to his non-serious attitude towards cricket was a wrong selection for WT20, but skipper backed his pick.
