Why Happen Earthquake:

What is an earthquake..?

An earthquake that occurs when two blocks of the earth suddenly slip past one another. The sliding surface is called a fault plane or not. Beneath the surface of the earth where the earthquake begins is called the epicenter, and the location right above it is called the epicenter of the Earth's surface.

Sometimes pre-earthquake tremors. This small earthquakes that occur in the same place as the largest earthquake that follows. Scientists can not say that the earthquake is a fores hock until a large earthquake. At most, a major earthquake is called the main-shock. Main-shocks always have aftershocks that follow. This small earthquakes that occur later in the same place as the main earthquake. Depending on the size of the main shock, aftershocks may continue for several weeks, months and even years after the main shock.

Causes earthquakes and where do they happen.?

The land consists of four main layers: the inner core, outer core, mantle and crust. (Figure 2) of the crust and upper mantle form a thin skin on the surface of our planet. However, this skin is not all in one piece is - consisting of many parts, like a puzzle, covering the surface. (Figure 3) Not only that, but these pieces of the puzzle continue slowly moving around, sliding past each other and bumping into each other. We call these puzzle pieces tectonic plates, and the edges of the plates called plate boundaries. The plate boundaries are made up of many shortcomings, and most of earthquakes worldwide occur on these faults. Since ribs plates are rough, they get stuck while the rest of the plate continues to move. Finally, when the plate has moved far enough to the edge of one of unlink an earthquake fault is it.
